Of course it should be preserved it part of history. They dont tear down castles and forts from other periods of war, well thats my opinion

In my opinion these bunkers as well as many other bunkers should be kept and preserved. We must look at these items as memories of how to not repeat history. It is not only the Atlantic Wall though. We need to preserve the remains of WWI trenches. I am a reenactor and many other reenactors like me view these bunkers of mass symbols of history and we would do as much as we could to keep them.

I've enjoyed my travels along the Atlantic Wall....the bunker as part of the house in the article is pretty f'ing cool. Would make one great war room.
