hi..i visited Geel in northern belgium last week...my grandfather was KIA there on 10 Sept 44...i took some then and now pics...the first 3 were taken by a resident on 10 sept showing the Durham Light Infantry and Shermans of the Sherwood Rangers entering the town..my grandfather was a Sherman driver in the Sherwoods (perhaps its his tank in the pic?!)....the others were taken on the 17th at the beginning of Market Garden...showing "market" over St Amands church...and a german panzer knocked out across the square.....not the most exciting in the world...but some may be interested...enjoy..k
