      Hello Ian ,

I saw you talking to the "Geordie" German on the Platform , i was on the train behind you on the photos, off to see the battle further down the line , i saw him showing you his soldbuch and then your Missus i presume taking the photo . What did you think of the Medal dealer at the top of the stairs ? i was fairly interested in a couple of pieces until i saw the fake army flak badge if i spot one fake i won't part with my cash . Is there a Cholm shield i spied nestling amongst the shields and cufftitles your showing to a friend there ?

      Regards

      Grant

        Hi Grant,

Not sure who the guy was at the top of the stairs but there was a few items I was not keen on!
Yes, my missus took the photo....Geordie's Soldbuch was empty and he required someone to make one out for him...there are numerous people who do this for re-enactors, however no idea who Geordy really is!

Incidentally the two guys with the Cholmschild are French and not me...someone saying we all look alike

        /Ian
