Searching in a Southern part of Holland

Yesterday Me and a friend of mine went to a place in the southern part of holland.
The area is very big en everywere you search you will find german ammunation.
During the war the german troops had their own Ammo depot on this area.
Before the Allies came in 1944 the Germans blew all of their ammo in this area.
You can find k98 bullets, Flak 2cm shells, pieces of firebombs, pieces of airplane bombs.
On this area you will also find debree from the bunkers and you can find a lot of foxeholes and trenches.
The findings are not very special because a lot of people came here before.
At the end of the day we found a small dump whole with glas and some bullets but nothing special.
The best thing was, that we had a very nice day on the Battlefield.

Nice to see the items you found there.

The Germans hat a very great depot there. The biggest of hole Europe.
But the nicest thing(and the dangeres) is that some people of the resistance sabotage the depot and not everything was blown. So there will be items that are still in good shape waiting to explode under the ground.

I know where this place is.When I visisted this place you could still see clearly the parking places for the trucks.Nice photos by the way...............
