Ancient, Medieval & Modern Historical Sites

    Hello everyone,

Word War II as we all know occurred in the 20th Century and this site is dedicated primarily to the study of that conflict. There are other forum's within this site that cover various other aspects of history and are every much as important.

I have had a keen interest in Word War II since I was a boy but history as a whole is a passion of mine. Another aspect of history that I am interested in is medieval history. I love looking at castles, monasteries, ancient burial grounds, round towers etc etc

Ireland as I am sure everyone is aware is steeped in such history. I have some photograph's here at home that I have taken from all over Ireland of ancient and medieval historical sites. I wish to share them with everyone here on WAF and I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.

If this thread is successful and people like what they see please leave feed back and comments and I will make it a regular occurance with different historical sites as I visit them.

    Kind Regards.
