This project is being undertaken by members of the IR23 and K.u.K IR61 of the Great War Historical Society. We've been a club since the early-mid 90's and started off at another location near Hemet. We had to abandon the old site after too much vandalism made it a losing investment.
About 3 years ago, ground was broken at a new site north of Los Angeles and the GWHS had a new site to create our trench systems and No Man's Land. Granted it doesn't much look like the Western Front, but it’s the best we can do with what we have. We're always looking for new recruits to help us build the trenches and take on the Allies at two battle events a year and two public events a year.
