I spoke with Joe Covais who used to operate New Columbia back in the 70s 80s and early 90s. As you may know, Joe was a pioneer in the reenacting society, making uniforms for all time periods but specializing in American Civil War, World War 1 and World War 2. Unfortunately Joe's health went bad and he lost his eyesight to diabetes which caused his business, New Columbia, to fail. Joe lost about everything when it failed and has basically nothing to show for all of those years of work.
Joe lives up in Vermont now and he would like to re-examine some of his old work for nostalgia reasons. If anyone has any of the old stuff that Joe manufactured back then just laying around or will no longer fit you, Joe would appreciate it. Send me a PM if you want his address.
