I believe that is the case. He also did some other really brave missions (I'm sure they were all brave), that I will show in my video documentary clips. These are the missions in his own words, which is great.

Hey Craig, please tell us when you post the videos. I'm especially excited to see the one about Congo.

Will do. My only problem right now is that I am swamped with preparations for the April 2nd Auction, so I can only do the editing between other stuff. But I will start cranking them out.

I will try to do a second one tomorrow or Monday. I've got about 2 hours of interview footage.

These are really hard to do, since I'm not a "master" with video editing. However, here is the 2nd episode in my interviews with Gunter Frenzel.

                    <iframe src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/yNdLPkTfzlM" allowfullscreen="" frameborder="0" height="315" width="560"></iframe>

The translation I did is meant to capture the spirit of what he is saying, and whenever possible, is literally executed (I don't speak perfect German, and tried to get it as good as I could).

I actually have him relating the entire Congo mission itself. Question: do you know if the mission is mentioned in any Allied reports? It would be nice to get their side of the rather embarrassing story (embarrassing for the Allies).

That's a problem Craig. I never found anything about this operation, only Frenzel's words. Must be a secret report anywhere in RAF archives.

But the British use to do this kind of thing - I have an example in Martin Drewes, whom I interviewed. He claims he destroyed lots of aircraft on the ground on RAF Habbanyia on May 17, 1941. The brits never spoke anything about these losses.

I will try to do more of these soon, but the distance between the first one and second one, means it may be months. I did this one on the plane trip to the MAX.
