I am still not sure if I will go to Normandy this year? As I am going to both Arnhem and the South of France and money will only stretch so far....

I will not go this summer ( at least not in june/july). I'll go to Bratislave instead and besides it will be too crowed and too expensive anyway...
As Normandy is 'only' 6 hours driving, it is very well possible that I spend some days at the end of august.

I'm planning to visit some sites in the Strassbourg-area this summer ( will be much calmer overthere).


Anyway, if you make it, don't forget to take loads of pictures. Have a good time!!

In a similar perdicament myself this year. I wanted to get both Arnhem and Normandy in this year for the anniversaries. Going to go the Arnhem, I might persuade the girlfriend to drive over to France for two days in the summer for a quick through Normandy.
