For Those Thinking of buying a Hitler Youth Uniform .....read this

    Hi Guys

I decided to purchase for my son a hitler youth uniform as we as a family are re enactors.

Decided Upon Soldatenwerks in the USA my god what utter shoddy rubbish with poor workmanship throughout, the inside of the trousers the lining has started to fray badly the fitment of the shoulder board buttons are incorrect, the shirt is a bizzare gold colour and a very very thin cotton truly appalling

The winter uniform very very thin laughable uniform material trousers incorrect style and buttons are like a clown would have on his costume, the hat is so thin and rubbish, this is the quality you find in a fancy dress shop not for reenactment

They wont give me my money back either saying because I dont find thier quality un acceptable doesnt give me grounds for a full refund

So now I have been ripped off

if I could I would post pics up so that you could see this rubbish

DONT BUY THIS RUBBISH YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!

The "secret" is out . . . A lot of people won't buy "Made in USA" any more - including most Americans . . . it seems today, we prefer to purchase base-items made in China, and choose to "re-tailor" them to our (or maybe in this case, your?) specific needs. There was a time when "Made in the USA" meant something (even to Americans) . . . but sadly, that is a time long forgotten, and I believe forever doomed to never return. Sorry to hear you were "duped" . . .

Ironically, if you want to purchase genuine American-made garments, here is a unique place to go:

I am not so sure the entire product-line is truly "American-made", but it is certainly not difficult to believe at least most of the actual construction is . . .

Who is to say the uniforms are really made in the USA? I know there is a vendor who sells stuff made in the far east and he implies greatly it's made on order in his shop. yet still charges 100 or more over the stuff made in China.

US importers have also been busted switching out country of origin labels.
