"E2V2 - ESCAPE TO VICTORY 2011 An event on June 5th 2011. WW2 re-enactors from the United Kingdom are combining forces to create a re-match of the popular film ''Escape to Victory'' a Warner Brothers hit film from the 80s staring Michael Caine and Sylvester Stallone. It will be held at the Colchester Football Stadium and is open to all public and re-enactors who wish to attend this fantstic day. Organised with the Royal British Legion we aim to raise a minimum of 20,000 pounds for the Poppy Appeal. Come and see a range of re-enacting displays and vehicles, a fantastic half time show and a full 90 minutes of old school football complete with traditional leather football.
