An interesting story, but of course framed within the usual hysterical 'Nazi' format that journalists should seriously think about giving up on. Just because someone wore the uniform during the Third Reich didn't automatically make them a member of the Nazi Party

Just read the article couldn't see any Nazi hysteria in the article, especialy as it's in the daily mail! Just watched the program thought it was rather good as to be expected from the beeb, must have been quite a big budget film to make.regards.

You might want to reread the headline: 'The Nazi.......'.

Hi Vince, yes the usual "Nazi" = "German" and vice versa. But I just ignored that and concentrated on watching the actual programme and not reading what some journalist had written.

Overall, I though that the programme was good. Uniforms etc were well done.

            Cheers, Ade.

I have to say I am very impressed by the article, it is written in a very truthful way. The only thing I noticed wrong was the Hitler order. They heap praise on Hartenstein and crew. Very well done.
