Very interesting story - that is indeed a VERY honourable act of these vets!!!

I really enjoyed reading it - too bad that this generation is passing away - USA of today would look MUCH different if such individuals would still be ruling.

Here in Illinois they would stay pretty busy trying to insure a fair election. People here say Halloween should be celebrated on Election Day because that is when the dead return to life and vote!
I remember one guy telling me that when he signed in to vote he saw his grandmother's name on the list given to him to sign. He said "Oh, I see grandma voted already" they said "Yeah, she sure did" He said he was afraid to say that she had been dead for 30 years.

Denny you should tell everyone the story you told me about the election you lost.
I guess you could have deputized a bunch of vets and gone the same rout but I doubt it would have worked in today's climet.
