Had this in the family for decades, never thought about posting it until now, and in fact haven't even looked at it in years.
The box is probably more interesting than the contents, as most of the original content has long since been removed. I remember seeing Nazi medals in it as a kid, I think now the only things original to the box are the 25 year stick pin, and the dozen or so pics of various German castles. Various odds n ends have been added to it over the years, by myself and others.
Box is about 9 x 3.5 x 3.
Dated 13, June 1945, it reads:
[I] certify that I have personally examined the items of captured enemy military [?] department mailed by [name unreadable] that the trophy value of such items exceeds [??] training, service or salvage value, that they do not include any explosives, and that the mailing thereof is in conformity with the provisions of Sec III, Cer 353, [??] Aug. 1944, and the existing regulations of the theater Commander.
I further certify that the items mailed do not include any firearms capable of being [con]cealed on the person or any parts of firearms.
