Hi again. I still have 2 chapters of my trip to Poland to post. The first one is from my trip to the Hella Peninsula, in the northern Poland, near Gdansk. In this place, there was a defensive system of bunkers, surveillance towers and a huge cannon. This cannon, the biggest one of all the WW2, was dismantled during the last days of the war, but all the buildig is still there. Russians were near, and all the german troops, SS, Kriegsmarine, Wehrmacht, KZ Stutthof personell (guards, etc) run to the Hella Peninsula to board in some ships, prepared for the evacuation. Now there's a military museum there, with many interesting pieces, many of them abandoned by the Kriegsmarine during the evacuation, and the surveillance tower used also by the KM, which can also be visited. An incredible place for all the WW2 lovers.
