    Siege of Budapest then and now 1945-2008

    Hi guys,

    I found a very good movie on the net and I would like to show you it. The Siege of Budapest was the second Stalingrad. You can see the city of Budapest on these pictures then ( 1945 ) and now ( 2008 ).

      Hi Mark,

      Yes, It's a good movie. Budapest is a nice city, but I think that a little dirty. In people's minds would be a small order make, that they not to throw out the trash.

      I hope, that I will to visit in your country once, too

            Very nicely done, thanks for the link! I was there last spring and noticed that there is still allot of shrapnel / bullet scars on the restored buildings, witch of course should be left the way they are as it is a very real reminder of the city's history. As been said, its a beautiful city well worth a visit.

              Thank you. Yes, you can see the walls of the houses in Budapest a lot of shrapnel damage, yet and I'm glad that you was here, too
