Highly Accurate Tropical Y-Straps?

I don't beleive anyone makes hyper realistic tropical y straps; all the ones i've seen are two piece construction where the shoulder strap thins down to the connecting hook. The originals are one piece , which radius down into the thinner strap.

The only reenacting group I saw with good reproductions of the Y-straps was in the Netherlands. I asked where the certain reenactor got it, it was original of course...

Guess I'm going to have to make my own!

Google this gentlemen, bill bureau, he's also on At The Fronts links page.
He's known for having the best of anything Third Reich. Back in the mid 90s
if you wanted the best he was the guy. All his caps,uniforms,etc. were Janke.

I do not believe he carries Equipment. just uniforms. I did find these on 1944 militaria's website.

Look good to me. Just don't know if the straps are connecting and not seperated.

I just googled: repro tropical Y straps and came up with this place,

$75 bucks and shows a picture.
I've never heard of this guy,maybe ya'll have. I've been out of reenacting
since the mid 90s so it's hard for me to know.

Both vendors have excellent items, but both lack the single piece construction- from what i understand, it is too expensive to produce the one piece shoulder strap hence the two- piece construction.

Good advice Brendan, I heard that he never checks his emails. I know I have sent him 5 or 6 messages over the years and never got a reply.
