    Wehrmacht HQ building forsale!

    I found out that there is old Wehrmacht HQ building forsale in Lappland right now.

    Location is in Joutsijärvi near Kemijärvi.Joutsijärvi is known war relics place.

    House have 9 barrack rooms,11 toilets(army style),3 lounges,1 big room,kitchen,Sauna,and few smaller storage rooms.House property also have 100meters of own beach in nearby lake.

    Price is only 50000euros.It propably needs lots of repairing as it has been cold on winters.It is log made with sheetmetal roof.

            I visited this building 2days ago.

            Shape of the house is very poor.It costs 50000euros but need atleast 200000euros to repair in old condition.It is big and have also big yard.Lots of work needed,but if somebody want Wehrmacht HQ,there it is.

                  I already did speak about this with closeby museum director and he told that War Museum in Helsinki or Army Archives might be able to help with this.Gotta visit there and ask.There gotta be old pictures of it somewhere.

                      Was it built by the Germans ?

                        Best airport to arrive in this location is in Rovaniemi.Distance is about 70km to there.

                        Yes lots of repairs needed.Old owner has started to fix this house,but only outer walls and roof are fixed(painted).For example there is no windows/windows frames behind those laminate sheets where the windows should be.Also interior has been cold in winters.Concrete porches on front of the doorways have moved from their original positions.Wooden porches were broken.Interior is completely torn apart(wallpapers,wooden floors and so on).

                        And house is not built by germans but they used it when they operated in Lappland.

                            Any idea who was based there? Kemijärvi i know had an air base, is it related to that?
                            Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.
