Braunau Am Inn

Hi All,

Just about to achieve a summer vacation tour on Europe, and would like to see AH`s birth house in Austria in my own eyes, before it´s gone by Austrians goverments decisions to demolished it.

Still haven´t found any news of it´s status, so if it still there ?

I went to the Fuhrer's birthplace last July and it was still very much there, and I suspect that Braunau's citizens are secretly pleased about it tbh, as it brings in a lot of money to the town.

I was down in Braunau am Inn a couple of months ago, the house is still there and it's still owned by the Austrian government. As of yet, they're still not going to tear it down but they're going to begin more heavily monitoring visitors to the area again to prevent and discourage 'Nazi Tourism'. From what I understand, there is still an idea floating around to turn part of it into a Museum.
