    So sad to hear this, I knew Jack Harrison well, he was such a nice guy,
    an all round great human being.

    Jack... the world is a little bit colder without you in it.

    Now you have made your Greatest Escape,

      Just a couple of weeks ago I was at the site of Stalag Luft 111. Not too much remains, mostly foundations amongst the trees, though a quite interesting Museum and the location of Tunnel Harry, shown below. The group I was with travelled to the memorial site of the 50 who were murdered, "whilst trying to escape", and each of their names read out and a small service held. The Great Escape is a powerful story, so sad to know the last of those that took part has passed. Rest in peace Jack Harrison and your comrades who have gone before you. With much respect, Clive.
