1940 French Reenacting

Gentlemen I must say that this thread has taught me much more about the Battle of France 1940 than I have learned in all of my years of studying WW2. I certainly do appreciate this information on this most interesting topic, a topic that I had before felt too trivial to explore.

I just hope more folks take up WWII French reenacting. I m ready and others for some long overdue early war tacticals. It is getting kind of old hunting "Band Of Brothers" inspired American Paratroopers.

Yes, there are those of us out there that have 1940 French impressions. I am currently fleshing mine out and hope to display it in a few weeks at a small WW2 public display. If you are interested, I can send you a link to my Yahoo group thats starting out.
