    Rudolf Hoss's grandson

    My younger brother recently returned from Auschwitz where one of the tour guides informed his group that Rudolf Hoss's grandson had recently attempted to sell SS photos from Hoss's period as commandant at the KZ.
    He was asking a huge amount and was subsequently sent packing by all accounts. Not exactly diplomatic one has to say !!!

    There is more to this story than meets the eye. Some people wanted them for nothing, others were banging on about TR collecting and 'The Burn Them All' approcach etc: others ( like us ) saw them for what they were ie: Historical Items.. It all went political and you can figure out the rest...

      Agreed, more hysterical nonsense. I remember about 15 years ago the World Jewish Congress tried to shut down a major English auction house for daring to try and auction documents from the Third Reich

        Thanks gents, very interesting.There is a tendancy to denounce our community as neo nazi's, yet this could not be further from the truth.There seems to be an indunstry in denouncing now within certain sections of society.
