best place to buy a repro camo helmet

    hi everybody,

I am growing my infantry collection and amongst the original helmets I would like to add some repro items. I need a Heer M40/42 Normandy camo with basket - does anybody know of anywhere online I can buy one which looks combat worn?

I am also considering reenacting at some point so may use it for that

    hope you can help

    thanks

    Andy

Keep an eye on this site, they sell repainted helmets made to look older but are honest about it and the prices are good.

actually, just been thinking, I might actually try and undergo this project myself, I have seen an M40 shell on the bay which is $40 - it's original, intact and the owner is trying to pass it off as having original paint with "elite" decals. Yeah right, so I might buy it and try and do a Normandy camo with chicken wire on it.

Anybody know the best paints to use for the colour scheme?
