Good copy M44 short tunic?

Hey Guys!

I 'm the new guy! I would like some help! I understand that Hessen's m44 Late German tunic is made by ANT-Z. I saw their site and it looks good. I'm a 42" chest and 32" waist. Will this jacket be too wide on the bottom for me??? Please advise! I heard some scary stories out there where the bottom of these jackets look wide! DANKA! All feed backs are appreciated! Phinehas

I don't think you will have any trouble. As long as it fits in the shoulders, you can always fold the bottom over or get darts installed if need be. Remember a M-44 tunic was a late war tunic and a perfect fit was not a big concern to a enlisted man.

Danka comrade Denny B! I appreciate your time and experience! Now ....what are the 'darts' you mentioned in your post? Do you have one of these jackets? I read a post somewhere the other day that one guy said his m44 late tunic was chest 48 and the skirt or waist of that jacket was 40. That means my 42" jacket from Hesson's Ant. should be a 34", nein?
