    WWI Reenactors

What WWI units are represented in this forum? I am a member of a new group in the mid-west. We portray Infanterie-Regt. Kaiser Wilhelm, König von Preußen (2.Württembergisches) Nr.120. We have the privilege of having the National WWI Museum here in KC. We volunteer as "walking exhibits" with a doughboy unit as often as possible. Here we are in a "bomb crater" at the museum.

I did WW1 re-enacting in it's infancy. Started in 1983. Was part of the 16th Prussian Infantry but "retired" about 1991. Pretty neat times!! Mike.

I went out a couple of times in the mid-90s when they didn't have the battlefield they do now. The two I attended were at Ft. Pickett in Virginia and they were pretty sad but I hear they have really improved at the current location.
It was like a 2500 mile round trip so I decided that was simply too much windshield time and sold off all of my kit. Do they still only have events in Pennsylvania?

I´m in "Markgraf Karl", and we portray:
        Infanterie-Regiment Markgraf Karl ( 7. Brandenburgisches ) Nr. 60.
We are not very active, sometimes do an event.
We got a website, but its in Dutch: http://www.markgrafkarl.org
I'm collecting anything related to the towns Castricum and Bakkum during WWII.
Also soldbucher from 116pzdiv. And 1944-1945 eastfront pockets, kampfgruppe and Oder front.
