Hey guys, I'm doing a semester abroad in Florence from now until april. I just wanted wanted to know some good WWII sites around Florence and the rest of Italy. I know about Monte Cassino and Anzio, but I heard theres a lot of old Luftwaffe airfields and such. I'd love to hit up Crete and other parts of Europe too but don't know exactly how much time I will have with class work. I know Florence was an occupied city and learned the Germans blew the bridges here when they pulled out and hunted partisans but thats all i've gotten from the locals. Thanks guys
