lost battalions hbt reed green tunics/hosen

    hi guys
keen to know if anyone has had one of these in their hand...lost battalions m40/43 hbt reed green tunic,
would be interested to see pictures too, if possible. where the firm seems awe-inspiring on range, it has quite minimal visuals, especially the tunics...
so, in order to decide on whether to buy from this place it would be certainly fine to at least get a good goggle at the merchandise. for that i hope former customers may be able to help by showing us some pics of the hbt tunics/pants set the firm currently offer.
    thanks in advance.

how interesting. zero response in the reenactment section.
i guess then no-one has ever seen or bought one who uses this part of the forum and has seen this thread.
shame. i was hoping for more info and detail than the precious little on the site itself.

          Sorry, just saw this thread.

I have owned several sets of the HBTs and they are really top notch.

I used my first set when I was still in Florida and had no desire to bake in our summer events. The set held up for a few years and I switched out the buttons for some originals, used the S-rings supplied with the tunic, and upgraded the insignia a bit over time. The colour mellows very nicely and faded to the point that it matched an original that a collector had in a display at one of our collectors shows, I was pleased.

By the time I had them for three years they passed as originals, at least according to a few "experts".

They are also solid enough that they held up better than most of my field uniforms from the "real" army.

I will be heading to Dallas pretty soon to pick up a new set and start the process all over again.

          Timo

            hi timo
essentially, thanks. a picture or several will paint a thousand words...unfortunately their website only put a couple of obscure pics, like most of the ones strangely to do with jackets...
so if you could post this weathered beauty's pics we'll be all the wiser after your rich praiseworthy text.
kind regards...plus i didnt think they had hbt sets three years ago...

If you plan on buying from them, you should do it quick, Ray told me they're most likely going out of business soon.

A while ago they were closing up shop, then someone bought them out, but I guess that didn't work out after all. I don't think it's 100%, but it's not looking good.

i cant understand the absence of pics of these hbt sets. its not a good sign when their items arent even shown by the public at large. i wouldnt buy without decent pics first anyway, so they dont help their cause to begin with. mystifying.

Look on other forums. By responding over and over to your own thread doesn't mean anyone is going to come up with some pictures.
