Duxford pics

took a trip to the Imperial War Museum Duxford. really cold but well worth it none the less. there was a p51 doing a little show aswel. you can view the pics here altough touted as the iwm's airfield it actualy has a huge land warfare hall aswel with some cool armour. the normandy exhibition is pretty cool and you enter it via a landing craft. hope you enjoy the pics

There is a picture with a close-up off a guy's head (the one with the canon) , you can clearly see that the decal of his helmet is loose and fake....

I was over there this past December. I was very impressed with the war museum! It doesnt look like much from the front but its multi levels hold some great exhibits!

Also if no ones ever been, I also took a trip to the Tank museum which is located in Bovington/Dorset. This is one hell of a museum!

The highlight for me was touching (for the first time), a King Tiger!
