    Swastika found on an interesting uniform

    Look at that!! I think I've seen this before but forgot all about it.

    The Tunic and coat are WWI U.S. Issue

    interesting i know the 45 inf div in ww1(an american outfit)used the swastika up till i think 41! maybe a good luck patch?

      There was no 45th Division in the US Army during WW1. That shoulder sleeve insignia was worn by the 351st Field Artillery of the 92nd Division. The other two artillery regiments of the 92nd also wore swastika designs.

          Right now in a local antique mall I pass by daily going to base are 2 ea. original unit crest consistent to this uniform and unit of the same era. Unkowingly they are tagged as "Nazi pins". Anyone not knowing the lineage would'nt know better.
