This one goes in the "what if ?" category.........i wouldnt say Ike was indecisive but clearly he wasnt a decisive as others.......is not making a decision quickly better that making the wrong decision quickly?

I would have to study the situation to see what might have been waiting had he crossed the Rhine then, he might have gotten cut off and chopped up over there, who knows? Suppy was a problem then, would he have had enough supplies available to cross it and hold? Would the Germans been able to counter-attack and push them back into the river?
