I had the pleasure of meeting Skot earlier this year, at that time he was portraying an Algeria-era FFL member.

His standards are of the highest order. Should you be so interested, here is the thread he referenced at the start of his postings.

The composition of these shots is of a standard that is simply unmatched by any other group globally.

          Tut! Tut! Tom,

You've got your Bando on the wrong way round!

          Cheers,

there is method to the madness, when in the field, it has been found easier to have the left side facing inwards as its easier to obtain the ammo from the pocket when laying down with very little disturbance to the area you are in as i reload with the right hand

Can't say I have heard of that one before or seen any evidence of it but if thats what you've heard mate, it's cool!

I can kind of see what you are getting at, must have been uncomfortable around the neck when fully bombed up with 100 rounds, as the that portion of the bandoleer is shaped to sit around the neck in a specific way

              Cheers,

              Chappy.

I personally havent seen any pics either Chappy, its what i have personally discovered when laying prone trying to grab ammo.

The bando is fully bombed up and feels no difference when worn the other way, there is only a slight distortioness in the fabric . Try it at pip park in april
