    Bahnshutz vets?

I am not sure if this is the right section to post this in but! Bahnschutz has been a passion of mine for about five years and as you may or may not know information is almost zero. I was wondering if anybody here has met or more importantly know any bahnschutz vets? I would very much like to get in touch with them. I have met one in the past for a short time but the language barrier did not allow me to get any real detailed information. if so please contact me if you can help.
    thanks Jim

I am certainly no subject matter expert but my thoughts on the subject is you will be hard pressed to find any bahnschutz vets. My reasoning is most were either too old for military service or had some type of disability that exempted them from military service. Just my thoughts.

An employee veterinary gave it with that Bahnschutzpolizei not.
Why also, for those few Strip dogs one did not need vets.

To me the Bahnschutz Polizei is one of most interesting organizations and yet little info is available on them. I just got my first BZP tunic recently. If you ever do talk to a vet of the BZP I'd love to read about it.
I do know that Pat Stoddard owner of www.tasurplus.net said his grandfather was in the BZP and was writing a book, but it has yet to materialize. Maybe try contacting him.

I started meeting German vets when I was 8 years old as we had 3 that lived within a 100ft radius of our home here in Ohio. I was then sent to Germany in the early 80's and lived in an apt flat that had 2 W-SS, 1 luft, 2 KM, and 2 Heer vets. I was fascinated by trains and my tante married a BSP man who had a tremendous photo album, showing train security and hunting partisans in Russia. He had several friends that served the DRB. I met every type of person who would have had a job on the Reichsbahn. I remember 1 women who was 16 during the war and she was smoking hot!! I wanted to take her WW2 pic home with me, but it was the only one she had. She looked like a miss universe model in her helferin uniform.
