                This view shows how Hitler had King Ludwig's Konisgsplatz paved, with the Ehrentempel erected on either side of the center. To either side of the Ehrentempel were built nazi party buildings designed by architect Paul Ludwig Troost. Behind the Ehrentempel seen in the left of this view can be seen the Braune Hous. The modern view shows how grass was restored to most Konigsplatz after the war; the Ehrentempel foundations still exist in the wooded areas on either side of the street in this photo.

                        i echo the above. superb pictures, and i love the way you`ve got the same angle as the original on all the modern pics you`ve taken. thanks for your effort!.


                        and a question as an afterthought. is there nothing at all on hitler`s birthplace to mark the fact?. i don`t mean as a celebration obviously. but surely such an appalling human being, who changed the world , should at least have a plaque , to keep what he did, fresh in everyone`s memory.

                            duplicating the exact angle of the original has paid dividends, the energy and dedication in this assortment extremely impressive.
