WW2 Vet and friend passes

A gentleman I met only a short time ago, yet I would call him a friend passed away Oct. 6th.
Nick Fallier was a P 47 pilot who shot down 4 Japanese planes. He told me he tried like the devil to shoot the fifth, but just couldn't find one towards the end of the war. Anyway a fine man and war hero. He will be missed and I enjoyed every war story he told me.
