Hi all,

I regret to inform you that gGunther Rall, 3rd ranking fighter ace of all time has passed way. This was 2 days after he had suffeed a heart attack on Octber 2nd, 2009. He whad 275 areial kills under his belt from operations in the skys over France, Russia, Great Britian and Crete. He will truely be missed.

Gunther- my prayers are with you and your family and you are now in a better place with your commarads

Sad to hear news like this, all my respects for Him and his family. He will be missed.

RIP. A true soldier and airman. He did so much for the Luftwaffe after the war. He was always at a number of US airshows and always willing to sign an autograph or pose for a picture. Overall really nice guy.
