I am off to do several battlefield tours next year with Legers. We will indeed get to the Ardennes and will try and spot your locations.

Thank you for this marvellous thread.

enjoyed viewing the trip with you. I really like the before and after pictures of the buildings / areas. I kick myself every time I see photos from the battlefields of WWII. I was there in the 70's with Uncle Sam's Navy, and didn't care a bit about WWII!

i really enjoyed the virtual trip.
what is the situation re camping there.
it seems you drove up to a field, made an open fire...
                  is that so?
are there fields in this vicinity where one can make flame and sleep in?
                  clarify if possible.
Savage camping is strictly forbidden in Belgium... unless you have the authorisation of the field owner.
And you can't make flame for obvious reasons.

                    Hi,

                    Fantastic job.The best around here.
I have been also in the Ardennes in 1998, and I enjoyed a lot most of the places, and museums.
                    A worth visit for sure.

                    regards

                    Luis

Thanks for posting. So much hard work to post these...
I want to go the Ardennes and do a boar/deer hunt as well as a battlefield tour. Does anyone know where how to hunt here?
                        Thanks
