You might have already read my other thread brainstorming my ideas concerning a WWII documentary. Since that thread contains many pages of posts hashing out different potential ideas/changes, I wanted to make a new thread which is clear and more to the point now that the project has focus and is fully underway.
The broad stokes: I'm making a WWII documentary titled Our Time Of War about individual frontline veteran experiences from either side of the frontline (Allied and Axis). I'm using professional type digital video equipment (new HD prosumer video camera, audio mixer/mics, portable lighting kit, etc). The finished product will be made available online as a web based video format as well as in DVD and Blu-ray formats for purchase. I'm spending my own money to do this project not in hopes of turning a profit but out of a genuine interest in the subject.
I've had some amazing help from forum members so far, most of which has come from Dion (aka Münster) and Jean-Loup. I just can't express my appreciation enough for this, they've both helped me immensely. However, I still desperately need more veteran contacts for interviews. I have a few excellent US veteran contacts lined up but I will still need more, and I still badly need German interview contacts. I have a trip in the works to visit Western Europe for the sole purpose of completing the video inteviews in Oct/Nov 2009. That is only 2/3 months away now so I really need to get some interviews lined up for that trip. If anyone can help in that regard it would be greatly appreciated! I would be interested in German vets living anywhere in Western Europe. If you have any good British veteran contacts please let me know about them as well (the more interviews - the better). The only requirement is that they are World War II veterans who served on the fronline.

Note to Mods: I won't make any new threads concerning this topic. The previous thread was a bit to long and confusing concerning the overall focus, etc.
