Berlin: Olympia Stadion, Maifeld and the Langemarckhalle

Here are some more pics form my recent Berlin trip. The Maifeld and the Langemarckhalle are really sort of well-kept secrets in terms of sites to see, but I was very impressed. The view from teh bell tower was superb - and I hate heights!

The memorial hall itself, with shields of the German reserve regiments that were decimated at Langemarck. Sadly, the regimental banners that were once displyed here as well are long gone...
