    Documentary Bloopers

Have you ever noticed bloopers in war documentaries? I was watching a documentary tonight and noticed a German soldier fireing a panzerschrek on his left shoulder. At first I thought this was odd because the shield was faceing to the right side of the schrek the it dawned on me they had the film mirrored. It seems when film makers of documentaries usually have the germans moving from the right to the left when showing western front one and then moving from left to right when eastern from ones. Be nice if they would run the film in the right orientation, nothing worse than seeing breast eagles on the left breast, backward swastika armbands. To the common person they don't notice theses bloopers, but collectors etc do. Just a little rant from me. Guess I'm just too darn picky

I love the Blitzkrieg documentaries where they talk about Stukas and show footage of US Navy or Marine Corsairs in the Pacific!

These errors abound , how many times have you seen HMS Barham blowing up when Hood has been talked about or ME-109 D/E's taking off to fight B-17's.
What footage that can be found ,often on a low budget has to be used.

or the film of a British ship capsizing and blowing up (i think HMS Gloucester) was been used in ww1 and in ww2 its been used for the battle of the atlantic Mediterranean (where i think it did sink) Indian ocean and the Pacific! amazing how one ship can sink so many times!!!!
