Anyone planning on attending FIG?

On 27 Jan. 04 the Fort Indian Town Gap (FIG) WW2 battle will be taking place in Pennsylvania. The official event dates are 27 Jan - 01 Feb 2004 - quite a gathering eh? I know that registration is needed early for security reasons - so if you are thinking of going, decide quick!

I've heard that its quite a well orchestrated event - complete with barracks impressions and such. Anyone else planning on going?

Do you have a contact? I tried to register for press credentials last year in January and was turned away. There is a 50/50 chance I'll go but I guess I should contact them sooner than later.

Sorry Peter, the only contact I have is my unit CO - Don Calder. I am not positive, but I think January may have been too late for the event organizers to get you clearence to be there...with the upgraded security and such at locations such as this (Nat. Guard Site) event organizers have really stepped up their pre-registration requirements.
