Building an Me 109 full size ?......

    Hi fellows,

yes you herd it right!, there has been something going on around at our place since the last year and now we finally got to the stage that we are ready to start building it. Our plan is to build a life size 109 G from compisite materials, and with the engine we are putting in together with our building method it should be about the same as the original. We have been working a lot lately on our plans, here i share with you a few shots of the fuselage ribs. I would like to keep this thread updated as we go on with the building and finally when its airborne.

    best regards, Les.

            Hi there guys,

It is a big project and is exciting, we are moving house at the moment and we will start the actuall building of the fuselage at the new home but making all these drawings was a huge thing, then draw them up in 1:1 scale.... anyhow on markings we would do the first one in the Hungarian Puma`s, and then if our plans would be right, there will be a lot of these replica `109`s flying around in the future and they can be painted in any scheme as the owner likes them. Our basic airframe is the 109 G-6, and also we would like to make the G-12 so in anycase we could train people to fly them. This is a massive future plan, but at the moment we have everything on paper now time to make it reall.

I will be updateing as we progress so check on back here fellows.

            Cheers, Les.
