    Anything interesting near Buchholz Germany?

Im gonna be visiting some relatives in Buchholz Germany this summer (zip code D-21244).

Is there anything WWII related in that area? Battlefields, museums, etc? Driving far won't be possible

    Thanks, Tom

Buchholz i. d. Nordheide is a nice little town, you will love it. There is a little cemetery there where there are some graves from the war, there also is a little antique shop there where you might be able to pick up something. A few towns away in Jesteburg is a cemetery near the church where soldiers who died in the Lazarett there are buried. Buchholz is not at all far from Hamburg with its many bunkers, museums, dealer shops, etc.
