      loop construction......

Hi again.......here's a start.....of course a picture is worth a.........i'm still looking. This is the exact method that was used on mine.....cheers.....

Simply position your award on your Feldbluse in its appointed place. Then use a tailor's chalk to mark the precise position of the pin as well as the hinge / clasp position. Then use standard needle and thred to create a 1mm "loop" immediately below the hing and above the clasp of the award. Some people actually employ the use of a small dowel or phillip's head screwdriver over which to make their loops. Finish your loop by using the needle to twist the excess thread around the loop. Then tie a series of half hitches and you're finished...............

            go here

            http://dev.wehrmacht-awards.com/foru...acement+badges

Go to this thread and have a look at the pictures half way along. They show all the awards you are asking for except the APB which you could substitute for the IAB.

            Hope my link works..

            cheers

            Mike
