    D-Day Normandy Tours

    Hello everyone,

I am looking into planning a 2010 tour of these battlefields. Which of the tours, out there, would you recommend as the best for my group my wife, 25 yr old son and myself?

    Thank you
    Kurt

There are routes to follow around the main sites of interest, about 6 or 7 I think. They take you to all points of interest and to all museums and cemeteries along the way. If you PM your address to me I can pick up some leaflets when I am over there in June and send them on to you.

      Pathfinder Tours

I operate a tour company in which we specialize in Battlefield Tours to Normandy, Holland, Bastogne etc.

You can find out more on these tours at www.PathfinderTour.com

We have a Normandy tour that is just about full for May and another in September for the 65th in Holland, where we will visit Bastogne as well.

I took a WWII tour sponsored by a company called Alpventures.com. They specialize in small group tours and Tony the owner of the company and his bus driver were THE best! Our group consisted of just 13 people and we went to all of the beaches and museums in Normandy along with the American Cementary and German Cementary. Our tour guide put us in very nice hotels and took lots of time with everywhere that we went to. We also got to see the Todt Batterie and V-2 rocket sites. Then we went to Bastogne, Foy and Malmedy. Our price included all museums, our transport and two meals a day. Check out their website.

          Thanks to those So Far

How about those with the extended tours into Holland and Germany?

Go to the Alpventures website, they have all kinds of tours to all over Germany. They can even set up a custom tour for you.
