              Dad's friend Bunkley was at Anzio. Dad was sent to Sardinia instead. Dad and Bunkley met up later in Italy. Bunkley is heading to the WWII Memorial on an "Honor Flight" today. Dad passed on in 2003.

              Bunkley is on the left, Dad is on the right in this photo. Both were in the 12thAAF, 78th Fighter Control Squadron...
