    6SS Gebirgs Nord Battlesite visit?

    Hello all, I would like to visit some of the battle sites where the 6th SS Gebirgs Nord fought. I do not plan on going into Russia, but only to Finland. Does anyone have any good recommendations where on can see this in Finnish Lappland?

    The actual front where Nord spent virtually it's entire time is in Russia today. however, Nord was of course also involved in the Lappland war and those locations are in Finland, Kemi and Tornio for example.
    Collecting German award documents, other paperwork and photos relating to Norway and Finland.

      Lampaden, Central Germany

      I don't know where your Bunker is, but if you go to the Trier area of Germany, the 6th Mountain "Nord" fought against US Forces (94th Infantry), at Lampaden, Germany.
