Custom Luftwaffe Collar Tabs

I'm guessing many people on this board make repro insignia....this was my first try.

My friend in my reenactment group has the basic Engineer equipment, but we are a fallschirmjäger group....we got onto the topic of Waffenfarbe. We agreed that FJ pionier tabs were black with yellow edging, but we might be wrong.

I wanted to give him these tabs as a gift...waht does everybody think about them?

By the way: This was the only wool I could afford/ find when I wanted to make them...I don't know where to get the correct materials.

I think that you did a decent job, but Fallschirmjager Pioneers wore either solid black or solid yellow tabs. The configuration photoed above never existed.

Yep, even if it isn't the best, as long as you had fun....I tell everybody who attempts to make 1:6th repaints: Failure is only a temporary halt in plans (like these were), but quitting is a voluntary end to a project. With failure, you have the option to restart.
