    Kubelwagen question

    Gents,
this seems like a dammed good place to ask.....what sort of value would you put on an unrestored, running and basically untouched 1944 dated Kubelwagen... also with....(drumroll please) ORIGINAL PAINT!

I need a quick answer....ballpark figire is fine....
    Cheers and thanks in advance!

Hi Wade, I would "guesstimate" a figure of £15,000. An unrestored Kuble is a rare thing. MB/GPW Jeeps are now fetching £8,000 to £10,000 in the UK.
    Hope this helps?
    Cheers, Ade.

      Hi Adrian,
many thanks for your reply. It's a great help. My compliments also of the Arnhem article....really super! It would be a real pleasure to see such nice presentations on the actual battlefield. Super.

So....nobody else out there recall recently seeing a Kubel for sale? Nothing at Beltring? Anybody in the Market to buy one? Might just have one to sell soon....original paint and 1944 manufatured. Imagine that! untouched!
      Cheers, Wade K.

          Hi David,
thanks for that. Actually the event has come and gone....alas without a kubel. It was in Europe and organising things from this far away was too difficult..... I might have to stick with the smaller stuff! hahahaha!
          Thanks for your responses though!
          Cheers, Wade K.

Hey Wade. Did you get any pics of it? Even if you don't have the keys, it would be nice to see it.
