I don't necessarily have any specific requests, but could someone point me in the direction of some accurate WWI and / or WWII period German fonts? (..in Windows compatable formats, please.

reenactor.net used to have several up. The best one was "crappy German typewriter". Go there and check and see if still available. -

These are for handwriting fonts in the Sütterlin script. A search for Sütterlin font might find more. There are also lots sites with various styles of Fraktur, the old-style German typeface.

It might be interesting to know that the German handwriting and the Fraktur for printing were forbidden by laws of the NS-government in January and September 1941. Thereafter only the latin fonts for printing and handwriting were allowed.
