        Looks like Predator has been messing around in the area, leaving some of his prey from other worlds behind.

          [quote=chippler;2816184]it's official: it's a branch

          AN Australian trekking party's hopes of having found remains of a World War II airman hanging from a tree on the Kokoda Track have been dashed – in fact they discovered a moss-covered branch.quote]

          Their hopes have been dashed? I would have thought that this turning out to NOT being a dead body would have been considered a good thing.

          "An Australian trekking party's fears have turned out to be unfounded" would have been a better way of writing it IMO

          Still think it's a guy up there who's been eating bananas the whole time and is now got feet length dreadlocks

            Colin; just so we're clear... I did not write that article. Everything except the first part

            "it's official: it's a branch

            http://www.news.com.au/story/0,23599...-29277,00.html"

            Was copied and pasted directly from the article.

                I guess I was wrong, I figured it was either D.B. Cooper or Amelia Earhart.

                  Nobody has explained the goggles and how come there are no photos of the expedition and the "branch" ??? I think it might be Yamamoto..

                    Hi, Chris, no worries I knew the words came from the article and not yourself, it was clear you were just giving everyone an update.
